From Singapore to Tokyo

It's 7 hours flight and I seriously love this airbus! Wohoooo.. I thought I'd catch up on my much needed sleep. It turned out that I was really enjoying the airplane ride. Swwooooshhh.. Off we went! Goodbye Singapore, it was! My airplane buddies were Cheryl and Glenn. Oh, by the way, Glenn is my lecturer (Yanty, you should know him right?). I love the individual monitor screen. We could watch movies, listen to songs (even create your own playlist and trust me, all are the latest hits. I'm addicted to Natasha Bedingfield's Pocketful of Sunshine. If you have it, tell me k), play games and even examine the maps. Soo cooool rite? Throughout the journey, I only slept once while listening to the playlist I've created. Oh, I found out that Definitely Maybe is such a boring story! And College Road Trip is not so bad. I didn't get to complete watching the show. Sobz! Wadever lah.. So, here are the pictures!

Changi Airport. Terminal 1. 2am.

In the wee hours of the morning, my big family came down to Yew Tee and we took a car ride to Changi Airport. In total of 8 cars of family sent me off. Yea.. It was nice to have the cousins and we took loads of pictures. When it was time for me to leave, it finally dawned on me that I am actually going to Boston and away from home. Moreover, Boston in nowhere within the Asia region. Hugs and kisses were passed along and family members wished me a safe trip. My friends whom I havent seen for so long were there and ready to fly off to Boston. It's nice to see them once again.

I'm officially in BOSTON!! WOHOOO...

I'm realli exhausted from the flight. I slept in total of 4 hours. And the whole journey was 26 hours. It doesnt help coz the day before I flew off, I had only four hours of sleep too. So, here I am typing away. It's 1 in the morning and I should get my sleep soon. But noooo.. I think I'm used to the timing in singapore. So, yea.. I'll try to adjust my internal clock.

24 hours

Today's Fahmi's mum's birthday. Happy Birthday, cik!

Okiez.. I've got 24 hours left to check mu luggage, get ready, and hibernate. I've got my mp3 ready. And PSP needs a new game inside. Then I think I'll be fine. Hmmm.. I dunno if I'm really ready. I hope I am. I wanna thank those who sent me well wishes. I've gotten sweet messages from zhimin and gerlin. Of course, I'll miss the floorball girls. Oh! I just got a call from Zahirah and Mirah. So sweet of them. They flying off to Thailand, watch concert there. Hmm.. concert eh? I know of those you-know-the-man-ladies concert. Gosh! hahaz..

Okiez.. I'd better go rest now. I've got a truckload of relatives sending me off later. YeAh!

This will be my last post before I head off to Boston.

Anxiety

I've been walking to and fro. From my luggage, to my room then my study room and then back to the luggage. There seems to be a lot of things which I'm bringing. When Yujie msg me that she's bringing oni 1 luggage, I started to panic. I was asking myself if I brought too much. Just a while ago, I measured my luggage. 1 weighed 10kg, the other weighed 20kg. My hand carry weighed almost 7kg altogether. Alhamdulillah. Okiez. I'm quite afraid that my big luggage is too big. I hope not. I have 3 packs of maggie noodles. My lunch! Heh.. I've charged PSP (thanks mi mi for letting me bring), my camera and not completely my laptop. I realised I would still need to use this till tomorrow night. I have a feeling things are not perfect yet. And I have this angelic voice telling me that nothing is perfect. So, I hope everything will be fine. May Allah guide me through this.

I'm quite excited to go Boston. However, this plane trip is scaring me. The weight limit and forbidden items are causing me to panic. Haiz.. Can I just fly there with the help of Iron Man? My spiderman is busy with work ah. Hehz.. Mr spidey! I'm even rehearsing in my mind the steps to get through the security checks. What if they get me to take off my watch? So troublesome. Oh watch! I'm gonna make full use of it! *smilez*

In 24 hours, I'll be standing at the door, checking my luggage every few mins. Then I'm sure my aunts, uncles and cousins will try to entertain me while I get all nervous. I have to get hold of myself. But I dunno how. Okiez.. Maybe I have a plan. I'll go back to my luggage and check.

Tuesday, 3rd June

It was exciting to have a reunion with the student council, especially the executive committee and others which I have worked with. Alan, A'qashah and Carissa didnt make it down. Anyway, we went to eat at Spagetti Too. Quite affordable. Firdaus said I'm a cheapo coz I chose the cheaper one. hahaz.. Grace was fooled once again by dear Edwin and Gilbert. Never fail to bully her eh. Hahaz.. Mr Peacock wore our Sec 2 councillor T. How sweet! Just for this gathering eh. Hahaz.. Xiao Jun is always making that act cute or funny faces in front of the camera. And Ahmad gave me a quarter and some advise on going USA. Thank you! hahaz..
